Xiaomi is preparing to unveil its new line of tablets called Xiaomi Pad 7. The Chinese company has not yet revealed any details about these devices, but thanks to the portal gizmochina, we have learned some key information.
Apart from the really powerful chipset that Xiaomi decided to put in its new tablet, we also learned about the gigantic battery. We assume that the latter will be the main attraction of this device.
Last year Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi Pad 6 series, which was quite popular among users. The device had great battery life, a decent camera, and loads of power at a very fair price. Therefore, we expect this year's model to find its fan base as well.
Of the series, the more powerful version, which is the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, is more interesting for most users. Already some time ago, there was information about support for 120 W charging.
When we combine that with a 12.45-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and incredible performance taken care of by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it looks like a pretty decent package. By these specs alone, we can already assess that Xiaomi wants to be among the best in the tablet space.
A tablet also designed for gaming
But that's not all Xiaomi has in store for us. The device should also get a gigantic 10,000 mAh battery to its already quite decent arsenal. This is quite unprecedented in this category of devices. Combined with the aforementioned chip and display, this tablet should handle the toughest tasks, such as gaming, with complete ease. The device should run on Android 14 with a superstructure that has been given the name HyperOS.
Apart from these specs, we also got to know about a quad of powerful speakers guaranteeing a quality audio experience. As well, the tablet should feature two 50-megapixel sensors on the back. We can see that the tablet market has shrunk significantly with the advent of large 6-inch screens on smartphones.
But that started to change again a couple of years ago, and now the tablet market is completely healed and manufacturers are bringing newer and better devices to the market.
